Friends, the search is over. I repeat—over. After countless bad hair days and near daily inquiries from readers, I can finally recommend a 100% sulfate-free shampoo and conditioner with enthusiasm. Rahua isn’t just sulfate-free good, it’s one of THE best hair care lines I’ve ever used good—even better than my chemical-laden go-tos. It’s also made with 100% natural, 100% vegan, certified-organic rainforest-grown ingredients. After experimenting with the Jet Setter Kit, a combination of the Voluminous Shampoo + Conditioner (not voluminous—too lightweight turned out to be the ticket. My hair has never looked better. Even Mr. Bets commented, then helped himself to the Rahua buffet in the shower.

Hello lovelies! I'm Elizabeth Dehn, a beauty writer + lifestyle editor who's equally fanatical about lip gloss as juice cleansing. I live in Minneapolis with Mr. Bets and our white lab, Molly Thomas . . .

Yay! I am SO happy you are giving this stuff a shout out. I am in LOVE with it too!! I just did a review on four of the products that this line carries.

@courtney – Oo! I need to try the rest of the line. Thanks for seconding my motion!
Isn’t that the truth, Elizabeth! I just started carrying this product a month or two ago. LOVE. And the volumizing spray is lovely!
What do you recommend for thicker hair on the dry side?
@Leah – I would try Rahua’s shampoo (the non-volumizing one) and the conditioner. They’re both incredibly hydrating. Wen is another popular sulfate-free line that people with thick, dry and/or processed hair do really well with – they’re just too much for my finer hair.
Have you ever tried Lush products? If so, how do you think they stack up?
@megan – I have tried lush, but it’s been awhile. I know that our beauty thrifter writer, Meghan, swears by one of the shampoos for big hair.
