Earlier this week I got an email with the subject line: Trying to be an Awesome Boyfriend. Instead of the cheesy press release for edible fruit bouquets or 24K gold bubble bath I was expecting, it was a note from a guy named Jonathan:
You pinned cuffed denim and loafers recently. My girlfriend fell in love with the loafers. I’d like to get them for her as a gift. Can you tell me the brand or where to find them?
I mean, COME ON. I am impressed with any guy who pays attention when his girlfriend points out a cute outfit on pinterest, let alone looks up the pin, tracks down the blogger and sends me an email. You better believe I was going to find those loafers. Blessedly, a quick Google turned up these Joie Day Dreaming Smoking Flats ($175). I hope she gets them, but more importantly I hope she appreciates Jonathan!
