Fall is in full swing at beauty counters everywhere, and there is no shortage of swoon-worthy products. Before you start shopping for holiday gifts, pick up a little something for yourself. I’ve got my eye on these unexpected finds: (clockwise) Butter London Royal Navy Nail Lacquer ($14) – I’ve never wanted a nail polish shade so badly. If you, too, love a classic navy blue blazer, then you’re going to want to this nautical-meets-naughty shade. It will instantly turn your preppy white button-down or cashmere cardigan on its head. Jane Iredale Glow Time BB Cream ($48) – Most BB creams are made for girls with oily skin, which I am not. So it was with skepticism that I tried this new beauty balm. Earth-shattering result: totally glow-y skin that stayed that way all day. The secret is in a sheer yet waterproof finish, and the bonus is SPF 25. Tatcha Polished Classic Rice Enzyme Powder ($65) – I’d like to start each day like geisha, cleansing my skin with an exotic enzyme powder that, when hand-mixed with water, removes makeup and impurities without stripping my skin of its natural moisture. Sjal Serum 1 Liquid Vitamin Lift ($255) – I received a tiny sample of this and, after it rendered my skin practically unrecognizable in a brighter, smoother, and practically ageless way, squeezed every last precious drop from the packet. It costs more than a pair of premium denim, but that’s a small price to pay for daily facial of energizing oxygen, fancy gemstones and fast-acting peptides. Kiehl’s Rosa Arctica Lightweight Cream ($60) – A number of my fellow beauty writers have sung the praises of the original Rosa Arctica and the precious, rare resurrection flower it contains to defy aging, but I’m loving this lightweight version for day. Bobbi Brown Blush in Plum ($25) – Part of Bobbi’s new Pretty Powerful Uber Basics collection, this deep pinky plum is girl-next-door when applied to just the apples, and nighttime-sultry when swept across cheek bones.

Hello lovelies! I'm Elizabeth Dehn, a beauty writer + lifestyle editor who's equally fanatical about lip gloss as juice cleansing. I live in Minneapolis with Mr. Bets and our white lab, Molly Thomas . . .

I have Butter London Royal Navy and the Tatcha! Both are awesome. Seriously, if you don’t have a Clarisonic, get the Tatcha powder.
I LOVE the Jane Iredale BB cream — It’s definitely a lot of bang for your buck, and lasts a long time.
I’m getting everything on the list!:) thanks!!
The nail polish color is beautiful. Butter London polishes are worth every penny!
@Stacey – I completely agree! Once you try Butter London you never go back!
I may be late getting here but I love everything on this list and plan on getting the Kiehl’s cream and Butter London polish. I’ve used other Kiehl’s products and they’re all amazing so i’m sure this one won’t be any different. I haven’t tried the polish yet, but after hearing so many great things about it i’m definitely buying at least 2 or 3!
