The last time I reviewed a lipgloss was November 2010. Not that there aren’t at least six tubes rolling around in my bag at any given time. It’s just been almost two years since anything moved me enough to write about it. I’ve also been on a lipstick kick since returning to Corporate America because I love the polished look of something more pigmented. Know what I mean? But like a good little beauty blogger I gave BECCA’s new Ultimate Colour Gloss ($24) a whirl. They’re this gorgeous hybrid of shiny-not-sticky gloss and bold, creamy lipstick. I don’t understand how this is possible.
Then there are these colors, irresistible in their crystal tubes like CANDY. I would honest to god wear every single shade. But my favorite is Miami Vice, the perfect peachy-pink nude I’ve been looking for all summer. It has just enough warmth to brighten up my skin instead of washing it out, so I can wear it even when this faux tan fades. It also inspired an entire Pinterest board.

MAC Lychee Luxe has been my go to for this summer. A bright coral with golden sparkles that I love wearing with beach waves and my faux golden glow.
Favorite lipgloss? Hmmm, the sad thing is I don’t have one. I have found all of the of the glosses I’ve come across have been far too sticky for my liking so I’ve stuck to carmex for years. I need to SERIOUSLY update my makeup game and this here seems like a great opportunity to do that. :)

My favorite lip gloss right now is Smashbox Lip Enhancing Gloss in Illume. It is a beautiful shimmery nude color.
My favorite lip gloss is the sparkly pink free sample Clinique gave me, but I am in the market for something more red.
I love the Beauty Rush lipglosses from victoria secret!
To be honest, I’ve just been using my carmex. I’ve tried so many different lip glosses, all this funny colors and textures, so i’m on the hunt for one i can actually enjoy.
Revlon lipgloss in hot pink!

Aveda nourish-mint in sunkissed melon!

I have been using Sugar Fresh in Rose. Time for a change. MAC has great glosses too.
I like Bobbi Brown in Lilac Sugar because it makes my teeth look really white
My favourite lipglosses right now are by Misslyn, a German brand – they are wonderfully pigmented and non sitcky.
The gloss I’ve been loving lately is Bella Bamba by Benefit. I also totally covet all the Fresh Sugar balms – plain and fancy colored.
