I don’t know where I read this—Lucky or Elle—but I like it: Swipe your scalp with a sheet of blotting paper to soak up oil and freshen up your ‘do without shampooing. I doubt this technique is as powerful as dumping in dry shampoo, but for primping in a pinch it’s brillz. If you don’t already keep blotting paper in your clutch or makeup bag, I implore you to pick up a pack. Tatcha ($12) makes my favorite because they don’t leave behind a powdery finish, but if you’re extra-shiny try Sonia Kashuk Matte Blotting Papers ($7).
Any other dry shampoo alternatives we need to know about?
