Let’s just get right to it. BijaBody has a lovely collection of anti-aging body treatments. They soothe, scrub, calm, hydrate and dewify using a non-toxic, fair-trade, exotic ingredients—think turmeric for brightening—that founder Melisaa Picoli has discovered on her global travels (sign me up). But if I’m being completely honest, I’ve been secretly stalking Bija after spying THESE:

What? WHAT!? Those, my friends, are beautifying teas. And tea + beauty = one lovely ritual. Melissa and I agree: The world needs more slow-down-and-sip-the-tea moments. But these teas aren’t your run of the mill Earl Grey. The Daily Beauty Tea ($15) boosts immunity, balances energy, detoxifies, and aids in proper digestion. It reminds me of a mild green tea with berry undertones and a hint of ginger. The Nightly Beauty Tea ($15) calms, soothes, supports healthy skin functions, and (gently) aids in digestion while you sleep. It won’t make you drowsy but it will make you want to hop in bed with a good book! Both loose-leaf teas are oh so pretty, too, with bits of rosehips, red clover and red raspberry leaf. More important, Melissa consulted nutritionists, naturopaths, Western and Eastern doctors, estheticians, and “anyone else who had an intelligent perspective to share about teas, tonics, herbs and spices.”

And that’s how it’s done.

P.S. There’s even a Daily Man Tea ($15). It doesn’t have a peacock feather on the tin, but it does contain oolong and aged pu-erh tea for immunity, dandelion and burdock for hangover support, and something called Horny Goat Weed to keep their testorone stable (where was that grass in college?).
