Last time we caught up with Kara Nesvig of Vanity Project, she shared her favorite red lipsticks— and it’s been of the most frequently visited posts on BB ever since. In addition to her mad lipstick collection, Kara collects nail polish. And that’s putting it lightly. She sent me this snap of her Essies, which barely scratches the surface. There are DOZENS more bottles where these came from. Maybe hundreds. Kara’s latest love: this true blue from Rescue Beauty Lounge’s new Fan Collection.
What polish are you sporting this spring? We are working our way through a few new shades—lots of pink out there—and will share our favorites very soon! –Bets

Hello lovelies! I'm Elizabeth Dehn, a beauty writer + lifestyle editor who's equally fanatical about lip gloss as juice cleansing. I live in Minneapolis with Mr. Bets and our white lab, Molly Thomas . . .

Bevin and Kristen from Zoya are my new spring faves. Also Lava Lamp from Color Club is so fun on my toes. Plum Forgot from FACE Stockholm for JCrew is gorrrrgeous.
No, there are DEFINITELY hundreds. I took them all out yesterday.
OPI’s Wooden Shoe Like to Know (Holland Collection) is a new favorite for me toes. Its a great neutral that kinda reads taupe / kinda reads grayish. I am crazy about it and may leave it on my toes all spring!
I own probably 60+ polish colors. It’s a slight problem. I can’t stop turning to my Barefoot in Barcelona by OPI — it’s a PERFECT shade on my skin tone whether I’m tanned (from a bottle of course) or my natural pasty pink. I’m also in love with Set In Stones by Essie – a chunky silver glitter. I paint it waterfall style on my wedding ring finger with almost any color. I can’t tell you how many people comment on my wedding ring when I do that!
I have maybe…forty bottles? Right now I’m obsessed with Essie’s Luxe Effects Shine of the Times layered with Essie Trophy Wife. And I LOVE the scented fuchsia polish Betsey Johnson designed for Sephora!
