Happy Friday! It’s a big, chilly, cray-cray day here in BB land, as I head to Seattle on my next big hail life adventure. It’s true what they say: When one door closes, another one opens (cue angels singing). I’ll be working for Nordstrom, writing about two of my favorite topics, beauty and fashion. I’m a lucky girl. I’m also super sad to leave so many amazing people and the city I’ve called home for more than a decade. Minneapolis is the BEST. The good news is that this is not goodbye! I’ll be commuting home most weekends until we can fully relocated, and I’ll still be blogging away right here, as will my girls. Beauty Bets has become quite the cross-country initiative. That said, if you live in Seattle or know someone lovely who does, please introduce us! I can always be reached at elizabeth {at} beautybets {dot} com

Congratulations Elizabeth! I look forward to reading about your new journey here. I am so glad that you have some wonderful local bloggers keeping us in MPLS in the loop of the when and where around town. Beauty Bets is at the top of my daily “must read” list. .
So excited for your new adventure, friend! <3
Exciting! Congrats!! Closer to CA :) let us know if you’re ever in SF and maybe we could get together!!
Congrats! If there ever was a job to relocate for it’d be one for corporate Nordstrom! If you need any assistance there I would also leave Chicago ;)
Ch-ch-ch-changes….exciting, exciting times! Go get ‘em! I find it odd that you are moving to Seattle during one of their worst snow storms. Maybe you’re trying to take a little bit of MN with you. Welcome to the West Coast, sistah!
Your new adventure sounds amazing! Best of luck to you…… and I’m sure you’ll do terrific! But please, don’t stop blogging your latest and greatest beauty finds!!!! I’d be SO sad and up shits creek, so they say :)
Y’all are amazing. It’s so fun to have friends near and far!
So thrilled for your new adventure, my dear! I am ready to purchase my ticket….Seattle flea markets, here we come {with coffee in hand}! xoxo
You are going to thrive and be super fabulous in Seattle. What an amazing adventure Bets! So proud of you for taking life’s moments boldly and courageously . How could you not with Nordstrom knocking at your door. I can’t wait to see all the cute rain boots you find :)

Glad we’ll still be able to find you here too =)
Safe travels! Seattle can’t wait to have you.
Elizabeth this is so very exciting and sad. You will be missed, but Seattle is a great city. They currently have more snow than we do! Congratulations on your new, exciting job.
Dear Elzabeth,
May you dig another green, forward-thinking, crunch-rock, fashion-minded city…Plus benefit from the Ocean/ Sound breezes that Li’l MinnieApple could not ever emit. Cheers to you, the consumate refresher of life : ) Hug! Paige

You’ll love the Pacific Northwest, especially in the springtime. I often wonder why I moved back to MN. Like today when it is -2* outside. Best of luck with all the new changes!
You will be so so missed! But cannot wait to hear stories from Seattle. Best of luck, dear friend. xo
Wow! Congratulations!!! Mpls will miss you!
Congratulations!! It sounds like fun. I’ve heard from several people that Seattle is an amazing place to live. We will miss your local insights, but will still look forward to the rest. :)
Awesome! I am a proud Seattlelite who loves this blog and am excited to see some great beauty writing come from this area. Thanks to our diverse population, we’ve got some really unique international spas (Korean, Russian, etc..) along with great boutiques that stock fun indie and hard-to-find beauty lines. You’ll have a wealth of resources to discover, not to mention our beloved Nordstroms…
Anyway, a heart-felt congratulations and welcome to Seattle! :)
Thanks so much for the warm welcome, J! I am over the moon about the international spa scene – kind of crazy about anything that involves baths or ancient rituals. Please let me know if you have any strong suggestions! Would love an insider’s perspective.
