I also kicked around an idea and would really appreciate your thoughts. Since starting this blog, I’ve been asked a bazillion times if I’d consider adding style content. I never did because my brain can only hold so much and much of it is beauty-related. However. I was a lifestyle editor in a former life and my infatuation with fashion, home decor, and striped anything has never waned. I wonder: Would it be weird if I talked about these topics on the blog from time to time? Maybe anything of beauty would be fair game? Be honest. Although this blog is a total act of self-indulgence, the fact that you humor me is what keeps me going! xo –Bets

If you’re interest is leading you there, and you have the ability (whether it’s yourself or with some help of other writers) then absolutely follow! Passion and genuine interest is the stuff that make great blogs. As long as you can package that in readable and awesome content -which no doubt you can- then you should always let your passion and curiosity lead.

You should do it! I think “beauty” encompasses all of those things you mentioned. I also feel like a blog should have all the things you love and if fashion and home decor are 2 of your passions then for sure you should write about them!
