Shopping for foundation can be a trying task. There’s just so many things to consider (coverage, skin type, price—oh my!), let alone trying to find something that’s natural, for pete’s sake. After many failed attempts to find the perfect base, I came across Lavera Natural Liquid Foundation ($20). The coverage is flawless and it’s packed with loads of skin-loving benefits thanks to argan oil and vitamins, A, C + E. Did I mention that it’s only $20?! Since this foundation is silicone-free, the best way to apply it is with clean fingers. Warming the product in your hands helps it melt seamlessly into your skin, creating an airbrushed finish that rivals my old faithful, Chanel Pro Lumiere ($54). As if that weren’t convenient enough, you can skip the mall and scoop up Lavera at Target and Whole Foods. Happy Friday! —Hannah

You just made my day. Can’t wait to try this!!
How would you categorize the level of coverage? It is more sheer/medium/full? A tinted moisturizer helps cover some of my hyperpigmentation (acne scars), but I rely on foundation with more coverage to cover the rest. Out of curiosity, my current favorite liquid foundation is Vapour’s Soft Focus Foundation…do you know how the Lavera compares? Thanks for the review!!
Hi Aileen! I would say the coverage is medium, but what’s great about it is you can build up the foundation around any areas that might need some extra concealing. I haven’t tried the Vapour Foundation you mentioned, but after checking it out on the website, I would guess their coverage & finish might be similar.
SO excited to try this! Thanks for the post, Hannah!!
Excellent! I will have to try this! I love Channel ~ but I swear my skin changes colors every month…depending what I’m doing and where I travel. ~Chris Ann
Looks fantastic – can’t wait to try it!
Hi!
I’m a make-up artist and I use this Lavera foundation since it came out and I have to say it’s amazing and that I highly recommend it! I use it for my professional and personal use. Since I know all the brands from professional to drugstores ones and have a lot of experiences with all kinds of foundations, this one works really good, gives a great healthy finish and is free of chemicals! I already wrote a post about this foundation months ago, and how to apply it.
Best, Dasha
Thanks for the reinforcement, Dasha! It really does sound like the perfect foundation. -Elizabeth
What Target or Whole Foods carries this, I have not found the foundation yet

TH – the Lavera website has this nifty store locator (http://www.lavera.com/locator). Type in your zip code and it should bring up the Targets that sell it close to you. You can also buy online from their website. Hope this helps!
