June 16

I’m leaving on a jet plane tomorrow for Santa Fe, NM. Never been and CAN’T WAIT to catch up with dear friends (who are bringing a nanny for the bebe—god love ‘em), hit the famous flea markets, soak in a Japanese hot tub here, devour enchiladas at The Shed, and hike it all off in the mountains. In an act of self-inflicted pain, I’m limiting myself to carry-on luggage. It’s proving rather tricky considering the variety of activities, but I won’t be leaving home without these essentials:

SuperGoop SPF 30 Slim Travel Tube, which has been reformulated w/o parabens, phalates, etc. It’s sweat- and water-resistant for those hot hikes, but feels like like light-weight moisturizer.

Sonia Kashuk Self-Tanning Towelettes for face and body. I haven’t tried them yet, but already loving the hanydy, no-mess factor of tucking these pre-wrapped wipes into my suitcase.

Aveda Pure Abundance Hair Potion, a travel-sized dry shampoo so I can throw my hair in a pony and go.

For those early morning trips to the farmer’s market, I’ll be toting along my collection of super-cute LiveSavvy headbands.

Laura Mercier Oil-Free Tinted Moisturizer, the light-weight version of the cult-classic, is the perfect skin-perfecting base for sweltering days or a night out.

My new favorite bronzing powder, which is worth it’s price and gold and all of the accolades it receives.

Laura Geller’s Shine & Shield lipgloss trio contains are the only summery shades I’ll need, and they slip so easily into my pocket or clutch.
