Hey Hayley!

Eeeee, Dr. Bronner’s will forever remind me of camping/backpacking, i.e. not my best beauty memories. It’s a good all-purpose soap to have on hand in situations like that, but I’m not a fan of using it on a day-to-day basis, at least not on my hair. Dr. B’s does have a bar soap that’s pretty divine, though. The lavender coconut smells especially lovely.

I look forward to trying the L’Oreal hair masque. I just heard about Dr. Bronner’s (available at Wedge) for natural shampoo. Has anyone tried that?

Great post, Meghan! Affordable beauty products= love, love, love! TresSemme Dry Shampoo, (which I heard about here, Elizabeth) is awesome. I have found I am using it even on clean-hair days for some body and dirty-hair texture!

I have to second the Spray de Mode. Super on my fine hair, too. And you don’t need a ton so prob not any more expensive in the long run!

I’ve had the best luck with Bumble & Bumble’s Spray de Mode, which layers well, isn’t sticky and smells fantastic. But, at $25 a bottle, it’s not a bargain.

In terms of drugstore products, I’ve had good luck with both TresSemme’s 24-Hour Body Finishing Spray. My hair’s so long, and heavy sprays can weigh it down and make my style fall flat. This one adds a nice hold, but it’s not sticky or heavy.
