There are very few things that bring out the impulse buyer in me. But no matter how many perfect white t-shirts, layered gold necklaces, and antique serving bowls I own, I can’t resist just one more. Scented candles fall under this category. Not the apple-cinnamon ones from the mall, but the really intoxicating ones that fill up the whole house. I’m afraid these limited editions from Jo Malone Farrow & Ball ($65 each) might do me in. I mean, two of my favorite things in one chic, matte package: Jo Malone’s most popular scents (Grapefruit, Lime Basil & Mandarin, Wild Fig & Cassis, Pomegranate Noir, and Blue Agava & Cacao), paired with famed British paint company Farrow & Ball’s most popular colours (Cream, Breakfast Room Green, Pelt, Eating Room Red and Oval Room Blue). Le sigh.

I am not sure I can swallow the price of those candles, but I sure love the colors. I think I want to find rooms in my house to use each one of these. That is quite a striking pallet, wouldn’t you say?
