With Clarisonic’s cult-like following (more on these wonder tools next week), it was only a matter of time before skin care companies came up with their own vibrating products. Not that kind of vibrator. I so haven’t had enough coffee to go there. I’m talking about anything that massages the skin to improve elasticity and better absorb product. Johnson & Johnson recently got in the game with the launch several anti-aging skin care lines—Aveeno Ageless Vitality, RoC Brilliance, and Neutrogena Clinical—all designed to mimic physical vibration using natural molecular charges, micro-currents, or, in RoC’s case—”E-pulse technology.” The charge, which you don’t actually feel, stimulates collagen growth. Sounds like a lot of bells and whistles (or hoo-ha—you decide), but if it works we will all have smoother, firmer, younger-looking skin at a fraction of the price of the department store products or derm treatments. I’ve had particularly good results with RoC’s retinol products, and think Aveeno makes some great gentle cleansers and moisturizers, so I’m cautiously optimistic that these new products will deliver. In the mean time, I need a few guinea pigs to test these out for four weeks—the time it typically takes to see significant results—and report back to the group. If you’re game, leave a comment with what your current skin care woes. If you’re 22, I don’t want to hear it!

I would LOVE to be a guinea pig for this project! I’m 25 yrs old, but I feel like my skin has aged faster than some of my friends (maybe it was the years of lifeguarding w/o sunscreen?!) I’m always looking for new skin products to try and really haven’t found one that I love.
I am 48. What I have been noticing is the overall sag in my skin, especially the jowl area. I have some fine lines around my eyes and deeper ones on the forehead. I also have uneven skin tone. My cheeks are more dark (brownish red) than the rest of my face. Would love to be a guinea pig!
I’m 43 and have many woes, most common with my age. I have fine lines and wrinkles forming around my eyes and lips, plus some laugh lines. I also have large pores on my cheeks and nose. I had skin cancer a few years ago and now wear sunscreen daily, which I think has helped delay the aging a little bit. I’m looking for some new products at this point and this would be a great way to try something!
I am 30, just noticing the early signs of again, and I would love some help! I am seeing lines on my forehead and around my mouth and I HATE IT! I am a skin care junkie who is always trying new things, but have not seen anything that has impressed me. I would love the opportunity to try this to be your guinea pig!
I have very oily skin (still at age 30) with large pores and it has been looking very dull lately. I think it needs to a good exfoliation and some glow back.
I would love to try this out and I really hope it does wonders. I am nearly 33 and I am sad to say that my skin looks much older. I would like to blame it on our dry climate (which I am sure is a factor), however, I look at my sister-in-laws skin (she is 38) and I have so many more lines than she does. I have quite deep lines in my forehead and the lovely crinkles around my eyes. My dad suffered a traumatic brain injury in Dec of 2008 and it was obviously a very stressful and difficult time for our family. I look at photos before that date and I don’t look so bad, but ever since then it just aged my skin so much (not to mention that I lost a lot of weight and lost my hair…good times!) I am happy to report that my dad made a miraculous recovery….I wish my skin could too!
42 and starting to notice the little lines around my lips and mouth, as well as a lovely furrow in my brow deepening and not so little any more! help! (I blame the children and/or my husband.) I need to have a new headshot taken (my previous one is 6 yrs old) but I’m dragging my feet because I like the way I looked 6 yrs ago ;-) and want to look that way again! Help!
I just used the last of my Elizabeth Arden Prevage ( which I loved) and would be oh so happy to compare product results.
Would really like to try these out. Having just turned 40 this year, I am beginning to take my skincare routine a lot more seriously. Would like to see how this works on fine lines. Thanks for the opportunity!
Pick me. Pick me. I’m 32, with skin that doesn’t look as soft and wrinkle-free as it used to. I have both oily and dry skin that is uber-sensitive. But I love trying new products.
HELP!!!!!
It’s been a rough year – I turned 55
I am 43 and have been struggling with fine lines and wrinkles around my eyes and mouth and have notice sagging around the jaw line. I also have oily skin and am prone to breakouts. I could really use the extra HELP !!
I am turning 36 next month…eeeek…I have moody skin…dry and flaky, prone to breakouts and I am getting the fine and not so fine lines women of a certain age tend to get.
I am at a loss what to do, and think this falls into the can’t hurt, might help category..and guinea pig is my middle name :)
At 35, I’ve begun to notice a loss of elasticity. My complexion has become noticeably duller, with increased roughness, more pronounced lines and stubborn (!) blackheads around my nose. I also have mild occasional adult acne, but the worst part of it is that when blemishes heal, they leave behind darker spots that won’t seem to go away! I’d love to be a guinea pig and see if any of these products can stop, slow down, or even reverse these signs of aging.

I’m 43 years old and have dry skin because of my condition of Graves’ Disease (overactive thyroid). My hormone replacement medication causes my hair, skin and nails to be very dry and could use good products to assist me. I purchase bath and body lotions as they are very creamy. I would like something to target just my facial lines, wrinkles and dry areas.
I hope to be considered to assist you with feedback on your product. My friend blogged about your website on Facebook and mentioned she has become a winner to try your new skincare!
hi
I’m in my early 40′s (ugh) and have fair skin with large pores. I get lots of spots on my face, particularly after being in the sun. I would love to test your products.
oops, nevermind…I see I’m too late to the party!! Next time.
I am 37 Love to try new things. Use mostly Clinique but I have shelves full of different products some that work and I like some not so much. I Do all that I can for my skin I have a pretty long routine. Would love to try it!!
Woes are what I have. I’m always trying to find something to fight my oily skin. I’m lucky that I usually don’t get bad breakouts, but there are always a couple blemishes haunting my face. So my woes are as follows: oily & controlling that oil (in a dry climate – Vegas), some breakouts. uneven skin tone, all at the ripe age of 25 :)
I see that mostly young women have responded for your offer to try the Roc Brilliance products–I am age 64 and definitely have sagging in the jowl area and would be a much more realistic person to test this product so if you can squeeze one more in the free trial I would be happy to participate!
Im a 62 year old male. Have used sun block sense the late 70s. Always used under eye cream. Just went to 45 high school reuion and 80 girls voted me as having the least amount of wrinkles of the 60 guys that were there. LOL ……but have those age spots/not sun spots. Would love to try & comment about the product & how it works on men. I am a retired RN orthopedic scrub nurse and didnt see the sun to much in the day.
