People. Have you tried Living Proof? Do you know of it’s powers? They run deep. To summarize: NO FRIZZ. No matter what. Come wind, rain, humidity, heat, your hair will remain sleek, in tact, and fuzz-free. I know other products have promised you the world, only to deliver nothing but greasy, droopy locks that lose any sense of style the second you set foot outside your temperature-controlled bathroom. If frizz is not your problem, then a) I hate you, and b) Living Proof recently launched FULL, a thickening cream that coats each strand with a heady dose of body. Brilliant stuff. And not surprising, considering that the Living Proof line was created by a team of MIT scientists. Need proof? Leave a comment with YOUR hair woe and you could win one of these miracle workers.

I start the day with nice hair & as the day goes on my style changes, depending on the weather.
I hate July & August! The humidity is way to high!
I have been blessed with curly hair. But in the summer I swear it’s a curse. I have yet to find a product that keeps my curls in tact during the humid months. It’s impossible to keep the frizz out and I’m tired of keeping it in a pony tail all summer long to avoid the frizzy mess!!
curly hair = frizz whether i straighten it or wear it wild. this stuff sounds amazing.
My hair is mostly gray now and is thinning at the crown. I’ve been trying hair thickeners but have not found one that works.
I have fine hair and it’s always a challenge to find products that combat the “frizz” without leaving my hair a flat/limp mess. Love to hear of new products that work!
I have some straight sections and some wavy sections-the wavy is usually only controlled with a bit of product. In fact my stylist suggests leaving a little conditioner (rinse out formula not leave- in) on my hair-which has always seemed too sticky/messy to me. I will have to give this brand a try!
Everytime I get my hair done, the stylists ohh and ahh over how thick and rich my hair is, which is awesome, but it gets sooooo frizzy! If I don’t treat my hair with product or heat every day, it’s frizzy no matter the weather. And no matter how much I try to help it in the summer, nothing works. I honestly believe no product will work on my hair to control the frizz, but I would LOVE to try Living Proof and have it prove me wrong!
Got a bit overzealous with highlights in college and now have hair of amazing lengths, but it’s totally fried at the ends! :( I use a TON of moisturizing balms, cremes, etc. to keep it under control, but at the end of the day, the truth is this: my hair is damaged, dead and fried.
On my way to the chop shop tomorrow…. no more damaged hair for this girl!
I’m a shoo in for new products that promise this. Living in New Orleans with this mop of hair, in the heat and humidity is quite a challenge.Thick, dry, coarse, all screaming for LOVE!
Love to try this and have you be my Holy Grail.
My curly hair doesn’t curl when it’s too dry outside, curls too much when it’s too humid, and it’s ALWAYS frizzy at the top of my head but not anywhere else. ARGH!
I hate how sticky/dirty most leave in products make my hair feel….I don’t just want it to look good, I want it to feel good too!!
AWESOME! I so need this. I have naturally wavy/frizzy hair that I typically straighten, but still often wear curly. On the curly days, my head is FRIZZ-O!
I love that my hair is thick, but it has a odd, half-wave, so I have to either flat iron it, or use a full spectrum of products to get a more even wave. I’d love to tryin Living Proof; I’ve heard so much about it and it sounds amazing!
I live in the South. I have curly hair. Need I say more?
If it’s at all humid then I don’t even have to look into a mirror to know that my hair is frizzy. Usually I wear my hair straight but if the weather is bad then I just put my hair up in a clip. I hate dealing with all the frizzyness. It can drive me nuts.
I have thin, stick-straight hair and no matter the cut – it always looks limp and lifeless. I also have the problem of the hairs on the top of my head sticking straight up. Most are broken, shorter hairs and no matter what I do to tame them, they stick back up. I had a college friend that lovingly referred to them as “duck hairs” because they do resemble the little feathers on top of a ducks head.
OH my god, Oh my god I have been dying to try Living Proofs Thickening cream. As I’ve aged my hair has turned from the cute hair that others would covet to a flat lifeless mess. I have a medicine cabinet full of volumizing creams, tonics, solutions, sprays etc… but none give my hair the shiny, full bodied movement that I crave. Instead I end up with either a flat mess filled with fly away’s and static or a greasy string mess. Could Living Proof be my hairs miracle drug???
So I don’t have a problem with frizz, however, I have thin, fine hair which is not a good combination. My hair is always great for the first week or so after I get it highlight and then it falls flatter than a pancake. I have tried all kinds of volumizing shampoos and conditioners and they never work…they seem to make things worse (I guess they are too heavy or something). I would love to find a volumizing combo that works but I must say I am skeptical.
Ladies: I think there is a SERIOUS need for volumizers that actually work! I have tried everything too, including some really pricey shampoos. So far, the Living Proof FULL and Aveda Volumizing Tonic are the best – especially when used in tandem. But I also think that it’s essential to have SOFT WATER. Otherwise my hair is one limp biscuit.
Sue Ann, I was just in NC. Love the humidity, but the things it does to your hair! You have to just let. it. go.
Christine, have you ever gotten a body wave or—I’m just going to say it—PERM, to emphasize your natural curls?
Jessica, Living Proof makes a No Frizz for fine, wavy hair that I totally use on humid days when it’s easier to just work with the curl.
With super thick unevenly curly hair, it’s impossible to not have frizz unless my hair is either crunchy from a ton of gel, or greasy from a ton of oil. I think that I have only worn my hair down twice in the past year…right after it was cut and styled in a salon. When I try to style it on my own, it’s like a thing possessed so I always put it up while it’s still wet, before it has the chance to triple in size and become totally unmanageable.
Elisabeth, the beauty of Living Proof is that it doesn’t contain silicone, which is usually what you are feeling. And there is no stickiness. However, a bit of dulling which I usually combat with a drop of glossing oil.
I have always had wavy hair but as I got older the wavy relaxed in some spots and not in others. When I hit puberty, one spot in my hair began to grow in an entirely different (and disastrously frizzy) texture! I though I was lucky because it’s behind my ear and can be covered! However, over the years of trying to flatten it with blow outs and flat irons, that spot of hair has now broken off to my earlobe (the rest of my hair is chest length!!) and pokes out! I am going crazy and nothing seems to work. Silicone products give some weight but just makes the rest of my hair greasy, but if I don’t use product my whole head goes crazy with flyaways and my funny little hair spot sticking out! I wonder if this would be my knight in shining armor?!
My hair left au natural looks like a bad ’80s perm. Enough said. YIKES!
I LOVE MIT SCIENTISTS! I don’t like my flyaway hairs, though. Must. tame them. Somehow.
Naturally curly hair is a nightmare. When I use nothing, it won’t curl, it just frizzes. When I use product, it curls but looks greasy, and when I wear it straight, it curls back up. AARGH. Send. Help. Now!!!!
dry hair and frizzies! Would be great to win!!
Thanks for the chance!! (Tweeted too – name is smilefest)
Thanks so much, Adrian!
oh, but would like hair to be thicker too and the Full product sounds great too!
(please add to previous comment)
I have the worst hair ever- I watched you on TCL yesterday and empathized w/ your dread of the season of FRIZZ! That’s so me. I was just out w/ my kids in this rainy weather- you would have no idea I ever did anything w/ my hair. I have really coarse thick curly hair and it gets HUGE in any humidity and separates into clumps of FRIZZ! We have a 7 year old and a 3 yr old ( the younger has epilepsy) so I really have to work for extra time to do my hair and then it looks like a tornado ran thru it. ICK!
These sound like such great products — thanks for getting the word out! I have thick yet fine hair that’s somewhere between wavy and curly. I typically blow-dry straight, but that doesn’t hold up to any humidity… however, if I go for the wavy side it stays straight in parts and typically has frizz sticking out atop the rest of my hair. Perhaps this company has a product for me :)
You girls crack me up! I should have asked for photos of your crazy hair days, though you are all creating some great visuals. I think we need to do a separate discussion on curly hair and how to deal with it. I know not!
Bets, I totally agree with your comment about about SOFT WATER. But too soft and your hair will be very flat. Having a good cut also makes a huge difference. I have been very happy with the Matrix Biolage Bodifying shampoo and conditioner but am wondering what ingredients to avoid in hair products.
I have always had thick, course, dry, red hair and have yet to find a product that does anything for the frizz that takes over when there is even a hint of humidity in the air! I really hope this product can work that miracle…after 28 years.
I have been using No Frizz by Living Proof for several months now and I have to tell you…it works!! I have a lot of hair, although it is fine and naturally wavy, not a pretty curl though, and it frizzes for all but 3 months of the year (I live on the Chesapeake Bay). This stuff is amazing…I promise!
Yay Helen! I’m SO glad to get confirmation from someone with a different hair type who lives in a different climate! The only thing I’ll miss is trying new anti-frizz products . . . funny how that works!

STATIC! Holy crap I have so much hair I always catch stylists looking stressed out and tired midway through a normal cut. And when the weather gets decent in Oregon and it doesn’t rain for a few days? And there isn’t enough moisture in the air? My hair CLINGS for dear life to my face, my clothes, anything it touches and I can’t get repreave. Oh if only there were a product to help…. :)
I’ve been using Living Proof for 2 months and I love it!!!! Not slick or greasy and it works! I’m anxious to try their new product “Full”.
