Am I the only one who does her nails in bed? I swear this is the only time I can find to do them and the only way I can dry them flawlessly, fanned out on top of the covers while I sleep. So why not get a mani, you ask. Well I will tell you: They always chip after a few days regardless of the color, product, or professional. So I struggle to see the point of spending the time/money on my nails unless it’s for an event or until someone asks me to be a hand model. Then, rather inconveniently, the short, red nail look came along this fall and I had to have it. As if reading my mind, Sally Hansen launched No Chip, 10 Day Nail Color. 10 days—as if. But for $4.79? I bought Resilient Red Cream #85 and haven’t looked back. The glossy color glided on so easily, like satin paint instead of sticky lacquer. I didn’t have to clean up a single mistake, and the polish dried so quickly I was able to apply three coats before Gossip Girl even went to commercial break. It’s day two of the experiment and not a chip in sight. I may not even make it 10 days before I decide to switch up the color (24 in all!). It’s a whole new world, girls.

So, why does a pedicure last so long but a manicure doesn’t ?
To Pat: because you don’t use your toes as much as you use your fingers. About Sally Hansen’s nail polish: I’ve always loved everything they have, conditioners especially. But this nail polish really rocks! The number of colours is amazing and I’ve bought about five of them and still want more. This nail polish REALLY stayed for 10 days almost undisturbed, I’m in love!!!
nope, hate this stuff
Where can you buy this? Today, I went to Target and Wal-Mart and they don’t carry it.
