I’m sick. Nothing that starts with an H and ends with a 1, but sick enough that all I want to do is put on sweats and a J.Crew perfect-fit tee, and watch Bravo TV marathons. So I did that, and then as the day went on realized that there are other little pick-me-ups I turn to when I’m feeling weary:
Aveda Comforting Tea – Okay, so it’s not really a beauty product. But this herbal blend of licorice root and peppermint manages to be both soothing and invigorating, which is exactly what I want to sip on when I’m sick. Even my husband, who is a Cafe Americano boy through and through, loves a cup before bed. Tea is magical that way.
Intelligent Nutrients Aroma in “Restore” – Leave it to Horst to bottle a fragrance specifically for someone in need of TLC. This certified-organic oil has truly medicinal properties, that smell sweet and herby, and make me feel like I’m enveloped in cocoon. I also spritz on “Awaken” when I’m trying to energize!
Origins Peace of Mind – One of my favorite products of all time. This pepperminty, lotion-like potion relieves headaches, body aches, everything-aches when dabbed on your temples or the back of your neck. It’s like an Advil/massage/cold compress in one. And it’s TEN DOLLARS. Bonus: Throughout October, Origins will donate $35,000 to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation from sales of Peace of Mind. All the more reason to get one for your desk and your night stand!

LOVE your use of the IN Aromatics! http://www.stormsister.biz/intelligent%20nutrients/aromatics.html
I never even thought about using them when feeling ill.
I have a client who uses them as her bathroom spray. That’s some spendy fart spray, but why not. Manufactured aromas are full of all kinds of nasty stuff.
When I am under the weather my skin looks incredibly dull so I sip on Glowelle (www.glowelle.com). This digestible beauty drink is packed with yummy ingredients that your skin will LOVE as well as tons of vitamins/minerials that will help you bounce back quickly. Cheers!
I cannot WAIT to try this! I usually add Emergen-c to my water when I’m feeling exhausted or sick but it’s never done anything for my skin!
Thank for the tips! When I’m sick I just try not to show myself much to the world. But maybe if I use all your tricks I’m gonna be able to look lika a human
