Yesterday, I did what I do every time I’m on an editorial photo shoot with one of my favorite make-up artists: quiz her on her current product picks. This never gets old—for me, at least. The victim of my latest inquest was Angelia Senevisai, who is equally talent, beautiful, and patient. Here’s what she’s crazy about right now:
Benefit Cosmetics Some Kind-A Gorgeous cream-to-powder foundation provides sheer, blendable coverage that’s perfect for creating the natural faces we’re seeing on the runway for fall and spring.
For dark under-eye circles, Angelia couldn’t say about Kevyn Aucoin The Sensual Skin Enhancer, which is really thick and provides maximum coverage, making it great at camouflaging blemishes, too. (Note: I use it as an eyeshadow base or layer it on when I need to be camera-ready. It’s pretty magical stuff for being in such a tiny pot.)
If you haven’t tried a dry shampoo yet, heed Angelia’s advice and pick up a can of Psssst. If you’re running late or “having a moment,” this is fastest way to get out the door fast because it absorbs scalp oil so you can milk one more day out of your blow-out. Plus, it’s cheap and available at drugstores.
